Alan was born in Fort Worth and has lived in the area for almost all of his life. He heard the message of the Gospel from an early age and placed his trust in Jesus at the age of 5. Alan has always been close to the music ministry, as His dad was the church pianist. From junior high into college, Alan was involved with a Christian band called Judah (later changed to Between Thieves). After many years of playing the guitar and singing for the worship ministry, Alan began leading worship for a prison ministry in 2019. Then, in early 2022, Alan joined Crossmark Church as the worship leader.
Alan and his wife, Jennifer, have been married since 2000 and have three grown children: Anna, Gracie, and Joshua. When the kids are home, the Craigs like to play games, make music, laugh, and just hang out. Aside from leading worship, Alan is also a songwriter and producer. Non-musical interests include running, smoking meat, and photography.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing, both from Dallas Baptist University. Alan’s day job is as a Contracting Officer for General Services Administration, serving both military and civilian Government customers from all over the world. One of Alan's biggest joys from the worship ministry is getting to hear the people of God sing together as well as seeing many lives transformed through the message of the Gospel.
